Calendar
1. As per the Road Traffic Management Corporation’s (RTMC) national Law Enforcement Technical Committee (LETCOM) calendar and the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport Provincial Integrated Traffic Law Enforcement Committee (ITLEC).
2. Six (6) non- scheduled roadblocks per month in compliance with the Service Delivery Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP).
3. Application of the High Accident Selective Law Enforcement Programme (HASLEP) at strategic areas.

Achievements
As at the 11 February 2014 the Traffic Section has collected one million, three hundred and forty one thousands, seven hundred and eighty rand and thirty six cents (R1,341,780-36) of the two million, one hundred and ninety thousands, six hundred and fifty rand budgeted for on the moving violations traffic fines.
As at the 12 February 2014 the Traffic Section has collected three hundred and ninety eight thousands, seven hundred and eighty three hundred rand and seventy one cents (R398,783-71) of the three hundred and thirty one thousands, five hundred and ninety five rand (R331,595-00) budgeted for the mailed and non-moving violation notices. This amounts to a surplus of sixty seven thousands, one hundred and eighty eight rand and seventy one cents (R67,188-71)
